2005 AAA Fraser Valley Preview
Central – Fleetwood Park, Princess Margaret
With the re-alignment, Brookswood will no longer compete in the Central Division. That means a significantly weaker Central Division this year. Fleetwood Park has a young up and coming team and should contend for tops in the Central. The other team contending will be Princess Margaret. PM has one of the best players in all of BC should she play up this year, Gr.10 U17 Provincial Player Harleen Sidhu was dominating at Juniors last year.
East – Brookswood,
A shift of power as Brookswood moves to the East Division. Even without Morisset and McKinnon, the Brookswood Bobcats are easily the favorites to win out. Returning starters and U17 Provincial players in Kelsey Horsting, Kelsey Adrian and Tara Watts should easily lead the way to a #1 finish in the Fraser Valley. The Chilliwack Storm are Perennial contenders every year with Coach Joe Ogmundson at the reins, return some key players and should finished 2nd. MEI has some size and could make some noise.
North – Port Moody,
The North Division is so deep it could easily send 6 teams to the Provincial Tournament. Port Moody has traditionally dominated the Division and should continue to do so with their excellent Guards led by U17 Provincial Player Megan Pinske . Heritage Park has a good combination of size and speed. Gleneagle and Riverside should be much improved and are expected to make a big impact. Finally Thomas Haney and Maple Ridge are expected to be very competitive.
West –
The South Delta Sun Devils are not expected to be as good as years past. That means the West Division will be a lot weaker this season. The Junior Provincial Champions last season, Elgin Park Orcas, are expected to win out here.
Projected Provincial berths: Brookswood, Port Moody,
*Could get wilcard berths

I Dont Know If Brookswood girls would have switched leagues..
and Heritage Park isnt on the North .. thats Heritage Woods they are a brand new school at SD#43
Sidhu transfered from PM to Fleetwood
Wow, that is significant. Fleetwood will definitely be a force with the addition of Harleen.
It would be weird if Brookswood girls did not transfer division like the boys did.
U16 provincial player Knauff transfer from Thomas Haney to Heritage Park
Another significant transfer. Haney will be much weaker without Knauff.
